Prague Castle: The Highlights

The route includes such high-profile sights as the Saint Vitus Cathedral (including entry hall interior), Old Royal Palace, St. George Basilica. And more, it features famous figures like Charles IV., Vaclav Havel, Rudolf II., Franz Kafka and others.

The castle complex is so large it is easy to lose a precious time here – therefore, this tour was designed to show you “the best of”, we walk through the castle GROUNDS & EXTERIORS. Thanks to the afternoon time of our visit, we avoid the bigger crowds.

Our tour is perfect in case you do not want to / do not have time to dedicate 3-4 hours to explore the castle, but still want to visit, learn and spend a quality time here.

After we meet, we will take a short tram ride to The Castle and explore following gems:

• Prague Castle
• Saint Vitus Cathedral (incl. entrance hall interior)
• Old Royal Palace
• St. George Basilica
• Golden Lane (entrance)
• Castle guards
• View of the Lesser Town

What you should know:

• This is a guided tour inside the castle grounds that includes the exteriors only. You can see the exteriors of the buildings and the palace grounds.
• Our tour is designed to give you an orientation and historical overview of the history and Prague in general, i.e. everything that relates to the context of Prague Castle.
• There is no admission fee to enter the castle grounds.
• We will pass through the security gate.
• Please note: Arrive 10-15 minutes before the start, we can not wait for latecomers.
