Get a glimpse into the workings and history of this hospital during a three-hour walk that will introduce you to the fascinating field of psychiatry. You will gain a unique and detailed insight into the history of the facility and the methods used on patients suffering from mental disorders that today may be seen as shocking and incomprehensible. Hear the stories of former and current infamous patients, some of whom still reside in the hospital.

You will end your walk at the abandoned cemetery where local paranormal legends will be revealed.

Address where we will meet:
Meet in front of the gate of the Psychiatric Hospital in Bohnice, Ústavní 91, 181 00 Prague 8.

By public transport:
Take the metro line C to Kobylisy station. From there, exit the metro towards ,,Katastrální úřad''. Get off at the bus station and take bus number 177 (direction ,,Poliklinika Mazurská") or number 200 (direction ,,Sídliště Bohnice"). Get off at the bus station ,,Katovická". After getting off, turn around and go in the opposite direction of the bus you came on until you reach the first crossroads. Turn left and you will find yourself on Ústavní Street, go up to the metal gate with the number 91.

• Tours are not available on 24, 25 and 31 December.

• The tour contains historical facts related to the dark history of the field of psychiatry, it is not recommended for children.
• We do not enter any interiors.
