Full Activity Description
The history of Karlovy Vary dates back to the 14th century, the time of Charles IV. The healing effects of the local springs were experienced by such greats as Tsar Peter the Great and the writer Goethe. The production of the world-famous Czech crystal Moser, Karlovy Vary porcelain and the herbal liqueur Becherovka have also contributed to the fame of Karlovy Vary.
Upon arrival in Karlovy Vary, our guide will take you through the city centre, where you will see, for example, the most famous spring Vřídlo, which gushes up to 12 metres high.
This is followed by a cable car ride to the Diana complex, where you will find a lookout tower, butterfly house, Mini Zoo and more. You will then be free for lunch, shopping and an independent walk around the town.
